Cookie Policy
Which cookies and local storage keys this website uses, why, for how long, and how you can change your choice at any time.
1. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to store. We also use browser local storage, which works similarly but is never sent automatically with requests. Both are referred to here as "cookies". Some are essential for the site or the product to work; others are optional and only run with your consent.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required for security, session handling and to remember your cookie choice. The law does not require consent for these, and they cannot be switched off through the banner.
- Analytics — aggregated visit statistics that help us see which pages are useful. These run only after you click "Accept All".
- Functional — small preferences such as a session identifier used to keep analytics consistent within one visit, set only with your consent.
We do not use advertising cookies, social media pixels or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
3. What we actually store
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
token | HTTP-only cookie, strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to the Money Manager product | Session, or as configured for "remember me" |
cookie_consent | Local storage, strictly necessary | Stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies | Until you clear browser storage |
visitor_session_id | Local storage, analytics (consent) | Groups page views into one visit without identifying you | Until you clear browser storage |
user | Local storage, strictly necessary | Caches your basic account details for the signed-in interface | Cleared on logout |
When analytics consent is given, the visit record we store includes the page you viewed, the referring URL, a session identifier, a timestamp, your IP address and — if you are signed in — your user ID. When you accept or reject cookies, we store your choice together with the time, your IP address and your user ID as evidence of consent.
4. Third parties
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and icons from cdnjs, and some testimonials reference externally hosted avatar images. These providers receive your IP address and request metadata when your browser fetches those files, as described in our Privacy Policy, section 6. Payments, if you subscribe, are handled in the payment provider's own environment and governed by their cookie policies.
5. How to accept, reject or withdraw
- Use the Accept All or Reject All buttons on the cookie banner when it appears.
- To change your mind, clear the cookie_consent entry for this site in your browser settings, or use the Cookie settings link in the footer, and answer the banner again.
- You can also block or delete cookies for all sites in your browser preferences. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in to the product from working.
6. Changes
We update this policy when we add or remove a cookie or provider. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
